The problem

Two systems, twice the work.

Many teams run their website on WordPress and their marketing on HubSpot. Keeping the two in sync costs time, and moving between them feels risky.

  • Plugins and updates

Plugin, theme and core updates keep breaking things, and every fix needs a developer.

  • Disconnected data

Form plugins, tracking scripts and integrations don't pass clean data to HubSpot, so leads and reporting fall through the gaps.

  • Fear of losing traffic

Years of blog posts and rankings live on WordPress, and a careless move could send that traffic to 404 pages.

What you get

A complete migration, not just a copy-paste.

  • Content inventory

A list of every page, post, image and form on your WordPress site, with a decision for each: move, merge or retire.

  • HubSpot theme

Your design rebuilt as a drag-and-drop HubSpot theme, or a fresh design if the old one is due for a change.

  • Blog and pages moved

Blog posts with authors, tags, dates and featured images imported, and pages rebuilt on HubSpot templates.

  • Forms replaced

WordPress form plugins replaced with HubSpot forms that create contacts and trigger your workflows.

  • Redirect map

Every old URL mapped to its new address with 301 redirects, plus titles, meta descriptions and image alt text carried over.

  • Plugins replaced

Plugin features rebuilt with HubSpot tools or custom modules, so nothing on the site depends on WordPress.

Process

How a WordPress migration runs.

  • Inventory and plan

We crawl your WordPress site, list its content, plugins and forms, and agree on what moves.

  • Build the theme

We build the HubSpot theme and modules your pages need, and you review them on real content.

  • Move content

We import the blog, rebuild pages, connect forms and prepare the redirect map, while WordPress stays live.

  • Switch the domain

We connect your domain to HubSpot, turn on redirects, test forms and tracking, and check for broken links.

Will we lose our Google rankings?

A well-planned migration keeps most rankings. We keep URLs where possible, add 301 redirects for every page and post that changes address, and carry over titles, meta descriptions and headings. Some movement in the first weeks after any migration is normal, so we monitor key pages after launch.

Can you move our WordPress blog?

Yes. We import blog posts into HubSpot with their content, authors, tags, publish dates and featured images, then check formatting and fix anything the import misses, such as shortcodes.

What happens to our WordPress plugins?

We list what each plugin does and replace it with a HubSpot feature, a custom module or a small integration. Many plugins, such as form, SEO and popup tools, are covered by HubSpot itself.

Do we need to change our domain?

No. You keep your domain. At launch we connect it to HubSpot and the new site takes over the same address.

Which HubSpot plan do we need?

Content Hub Starter is enough for many marketing sites. If you need features such as smart content, HubDB or memberships, you'll need Professional or Enterprise. We check this against your current site during planning.

Is our site offline during the migration?

No. WordPress stays live while we build in HubSpot. The switch happens when the domain is connected, and visitors move straight to the new site.
